Party Tent
When you need temporary shade, a party tent is the structure to turn to. These canopies can be folded out and used for temporary shade at home – and are more versatile than an umbrella – and can be packed up and taken to the beach or another location. A party tent has several uses. Not only can you use one for shade for yourself or guests at home, but this structure can be taken any place where you need shade: the beach, another party, a trade show, or an outdoor flea market. All you simply need to have are anchors to keep the shelter in place, and you will have a structure that provides you with shade.
A party tent, being a temporary structure, is made of a powder-coated steel frame and a polyester canopy. The canopy material is treated to be waterproof, UV, mold, and mildew resistant. Some shelters come in one piece, in which the canopy is attached to the metal frame and the structure simply needs to be folded out. While this format is common for square-shaped party tents, those that are longer often have separate components.
Around the home, a party tent is best used for shade. When you want protection from the sun as you sit outdoors, erect a party tent and secure it with anchors. One can be kept in place for several hours, although it should be taken down by the end of the day, as the shelter isn’t designed to stay outdoors permanently. If you’re expecting guests, multiple party tents can be set up outdoors in your backyard for seating and eating areas.
Because a party tent is designed to be portable, the shelter can be taken nearly anywhere. A party tent can be folded up, packed in a case, placed in your car, and taken to several locations. Taking one to the beach instead of an umbrella has become common and, for outdoor events like flea markets, a party tent can be set up over your table to protect you and your investments from the sun and any possible rain.
